PS stands for polystyrene, which is a thermoplastic material. It is easy to shape, durable and inexpensive and comes in various forms.

For PS recycling, polystyrene waste is collected, cleaned and shredded to produce recycled pellets. At Ready­Mac, we offer two options for PS recycling:

  • Ready­Mac: This is our standardized design of recycling system that is available immediately to process a variety of materials.
  • ReadyMac HD: With our Heavy Duty system, you can also recycle highly contaminated PS.

PS recycling with Ready­Mac

The patented EREMA technology inside our Ready­Mac guarantees that PS recycling produces the highest quality recycled pellets. It features a standardized design and is therefore always in stock and available immediately.

Thanks to the innovative multipurpose screw, it is possible to recycle a wide selection of thermoplastic materials, including:

  • washed PE film and film shreds
  • washed agricultural film or LDPE
  • PP film or nonwoven contaminated with solids
  • Printed or metallized film
  • PE, PC and PA 6.0
  • highly contaminated material (in the Heavy Duty version)
